Our training is suitable for all licensed riders who want to improve safety, control, and confidence on the road. You must hold a valid motorcycle licence appropriate to your bike and carry current insurance.
We offer both individual and corporate sessions, as well as advanced coaching for riders looking to refine roadcraft and observational skills.
We can also accommodate riders with hearing needs or other health conditions, provided you inform us in advance so we can adapt the session safely.
We offer training on weekdays and weekends to fit your schedule and needs.
Yes, you must provide a road-legal, taxed, and insured motorcycle that is properly maintained. Your bike must comply with all UK legal requirements for riding on public roads.
For corporate or business bookings, we can advise on fleet readiness and safety standards, but riders are expected to supply their own bikes unless otherwise arranged.
Helmet (to ECE 2205 or 2206 or equivalent) Motorcycle gloves, Protective jacket and trousers and Sturdy boots which offer ankles protection.
Smart Ride can provide guidance on appropriate gear if needed.
Our lessons run in typical UK weather, including light rain. Severe or unsafe conditions
may result in postponement, with an alternative date offered at no extra cost.
Book online via our booking portal or contact us directly. Payment in full is required to confirm your lesson. Your booking is confirmed once payment is received.
We operate a strict 48-hour cancellation policy:
Cancellations >48 hours in advance may be rearranged.
Exceptions may be made at our discretion in emergencies.
Sessions typically run 1–3 hours depending on the program. Corporate or advanced sessions may be longer or split into multiple sessions to cover specific skill.

Yes, for confident beginners, who have already obtained a full motorcycle licence and are looking to improve control and road awareness. We do not provide motorcycle licence test preparation unless specifically stated.
Yes, all riders must have a good understanding of English to follow instructions, safety guidance, and coaching feedback.
We can accommodate riders with hearing needs or other health conditions if informed in advance. Sessions will be adapted where possible for safety and effectiveness.
Licence details are required to confirm you are legally entitled to ride the motorcycle you will use in the session. To ensure the bike meets insurance, tax, and legal requirements. To ensure safety for yourself, other riders, and instructors.
This allows us to tailor the session to your experience level safely.
Yes. Provide a name and phone number reachable during the session. Used only in case of accidents or medical emergencies.
All instructors are trained in basic first aid and carry a first aid kit. Immediate care is provided if needed, and emergency services are contacted when necessary. Riders should notify instructors of any medical conditions before the lesson.
Yes. All riders should inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or medications that may affect safety. This ensures precautions are taken and emergency services are properly informed. Information is kept confidential.
Arrive on time. Late arrivals may shorten your session, but full fees apply. More than 15 minutes late may result in cancellation and treatment as non-attendance.
Training provides guidance, skill development, and improved awareness. Results depend on individual practice and learning pace.

Clients remain responsible for licensing, insurance, and rider safety requirements.
Yes, occasionally for training review or promotional purposes. Inform the instructor if you do not wish to be filmed.
Clients must:
Follow all instructor guidance. Respect other riders, staff, and the public. Arrive on time, prepared, and equipped. Maintain professional and safe riding practices
